Description

Duties

  • Manage and oversee the management accounts function
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and compliance with regulations
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the organization’s management team
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Conduct financial analysis and make recommendations for improvement
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external use
  • Monitor and control costs and expenses to ensure budget adherence
  • Assist in the preparation of business plans and financial projections

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, Master’s preferred
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is required
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Experience in management accounting and financial analysis
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Successful Applicant

Please note this role is only open to UAE Nationals with Family Book.

You’ll have a minimum of 6 years prior experience in a managerial finance role ideally within the defense or military industry, experience in working with government or defense agencies is an advantage as is an understanding of UAE regulations relating to the defense sector.

You should be adaptable and organized with exceptional attention to detail.
